Outfit tricks that will make you look flawless.

Before I pick up several harmonious clothing sets for my clients, I always start with studying their body proportions. I don’t really care about clothing size, because I believe that if you pay attention to the body shape and create perfect proportions, every silhouette can be turned into an ideal one.
Today we are going to look at four types of female figures with some proportions flaws here and there and find out how to make them more beautiful and harmonious with the help of clothes. As an example, for each figure I’ve prepared three specific outfits formulas. If you find a description of your body type below, try to recreate those outfits by yourself. And you will be able to witness the miracles that perfect proportions can do to your body.
Broad shoulders + narrow hips + short torso + long legs.
Visual correction objective: narrow shoulders or create volume around your hips, lengthen the torso.
Firstly, you should add a little volume around the hips to establish the right proportions. Any top – be it a sweater, cardigan or jacket that is mid-thigh long or below – should do the trick. Secondly, it won’t hurt to lengthen the torso a bit by visually lowering the waistline. Try to experiment more with boyfriend jeans, low waisted dresses or pants. Beside that don’t forget that a V-neck always narrows the shoulders visually.

To create the proper proportions for your body type, you should be wearing clothes that visually lift the waistline and make your legs look longer. That’s why I suggest adding to your wardrobe skirts and trousers that are slightly high waisted. Consider loose tops with a V-neckline your new best friends because they visually narrow broad shoulders. As for the jackets, give preference to models that aren’t longer than your mid-thigh point.

Visual correction objective: Narrow the hips or widen the shoulders, lengthen the legs.
Your most important task is to visually lengthen the legs. In this case, all bottoms with a high waistline will help you achieve it. To make the shoulders wider add some kind of accent to your shoulders (straps, cut outs, lace and etc.) and even better, choose tops with sleeves. If you have some minor flaws in the hips area hide them by wearing full skirts, A-silhouette dresses and slightly flared trousers.

Visual correction objective: Narrow the hips or widen the shoulders.
In order to achieve ideal proportions, all you need to do is slightly widen your shoulders and narrow the hips from a visual point of view. To widen the shoulders, try adding slightly voluminous crop tops. They do the job and are also super trendy. Full skirts, A-silhouette dresses and slightly flared trousers will help you hide minor flaws around the hip area.
